I efteråret 2019 resulterede et samarbejde mellem Food Heritage Foundation, Malaak og Zaher i, at en have i Halba blev iværksat.
Once a week during 2019 and 2020,15 children from the local community came to the garden, to learn about the many aspects of organic gardening, and partake in creating the garden themselves.
In cooperation with NGO Malaak, Jibal has planned workshops for the children in the learning garden in Halba. Unfortunately, the current situation in Lebanon has made it difficult to carry out the workshops and it is therefore uncertain when the workshops will be held. Our partners in Lebanon are enduring and working hard despite the difficult times. We hope that it will be possible to continue the workshops soon again.
